  Great service by a knowlegeable technician. He came in and completely inspected and cleaned my Vermont Castings stove, which hadn't been looked at in ten years. Very professional job, highly recommended.

  I scheduled an inspection on my property which houses a total of 5 fireplaces in three homesteads. The first company that came out stated there were zero (0) liners in any of the chimneys and just to fix two of them would be $3500. To fix all, well you can imagine.
  We approached a neighbor who used Frederick Co Chimney Sweeps and they came highly recommended. To our surprise, when Harry came out he told us one chimney did have a liner, was cleaned and now in working order for a little over a hundred dollars.
  Of course I decided to have FCCS continue the work on the rest of the property and when I looked up their number again, i found this scathing review that just did not fit the character of this man who literally has saved us from the scam artists out there.
  
  We all have our opinions and our individual experiences, yet the negativity that is radiated from the previous review seems so radical. Harry bends over backwards to "make things right". I also have high regards for his integrity. As a small business owner myself, we shared many a story. I found Ann (his wife) delightful when I called to arrange another appointment.
  
  Normally I wouldn't take the time to join these sites to leave a review, yet I feel strongly about this Mom and Pop business and think they should be considered when one is in need for this kind of service. I am completely satisfied with all the work that has been done.
